Key ingredients: WATER (AQUA), PEG-6 CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC GLYCERIDES, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, MANNITOL, XYLITOL, RHAMNOSE, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES, DISODIUM EDTA, CETRIMONIUM BROMIDE.
Alcohol-free. No phenoxyethanol.

• At the cutting edge of innovation, BIODERMA has pioneered micellar solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, the Sensibio H2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes. It removes water-resistant make-up.
The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free, physiological pH).
• Soothing and decongesting active ingredients prevent the feelings of irritation often caused by cleansing.
• Sensibio H2O guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance (tested under ophthalmological supervision).
Application: Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O and cleanse the face and eyes and/or remove any make-up. Repeat the application until the cotton pad remains clean. No rinsing required.
The Review (After 1 month of daily usage)
Highly raved by beauty gurus online and many beauty sites have been promoting this “miracle” product, I was extremely curious on its effectiveness and if it lives up to its reputation!
Packaging: Initally thought of it as a chemically enhanced something since the packaging is extremely plain but it also highlights the fact that consumers are not paying for fancy packaging but a good product that does not require unnecessary primary packaging to entice consumers.
Screw-on, flip top cap is user-friendly and leak-proof (tried and tested on overseas trips) and not too stubborn such that you’ll have a hard time prying the cap open.
Product Loves: As a person who hates removers that leave an oily feel, this was amazing. Texture of just water but with effective makeup remover properties. Even on rare occassions that I needed to remove heavy makeup, this was effective with an average usage of just 1 cotton pad (back and front)
Normal, light makeup only required half a cotton pad and my fibre mascaras just needed a 2 second leave-on for a clean removal.
This leaves no oily residue, doesn’t sting the eyes, doesn’t leave a tight nor dry sensation.
Product Qualms: Having been on a hunt for a good makeup remover that effectly removes and does not leave an oily residue, I’ve tried multiple and splurged on some. Avene’s makeup remover, cleanser and toner all-in-one is similar to Bioderma’s so although effective but not anything special for me. One thing’s for sure, it is rather expensive so unless I’m heading to Europe anytime soon, the price point is something I’d need to consider prior to my repurchase!
Sometimes I’m lazy with fussing with cotton pads and wish someone would invent an effective, mild remover without the usage of cotton pads. Also, it is so darn difficult to get my hands on these as only selected places have these!
Price: 34.95SGD for 250ml!
Repurchase?: Well, it is cheaper than Avene’s (45SGD for a bottle) but will still be considering a repurchase
Overall, on a 10 point scale (1 being hate it!), this product gets a 7.
Buy at selected Guardian outlets in Singapore (Travel size, 250 & 500 ml. I’ve seen it in Paragon, City hall, NEX), Amazon or in Paris where it’s much cheaper! (16 EUR for 2 x 500ml! Unfair, much?)
