Mustard & mint: Sleek Slit Knit feat. Breton Stripes

Audrey Hepburn in Breton Stripes

Present Styles:
bardot-breton

Breton stripes: Naturally nautical, classic french fare staple and a fashion must-have.
Did you know: Originally uniforms for the French Navy, it was believed that stripes would help sailors who fell overboard to be spotted.
Did you know: These uniforms had 21 stripes to represent each of Napoleons’ victories.

Personally, Breton stripes are a wardrobe staple. What more, it’s for every season, every age!
Something relatively casual yet chic, understated and very francais. Right up my alley!
If it’s good enough for Brigette Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Coco Chanel and Marie Claire’s cover (French and vintage!), it is good enough for me.
Played and changed up just a little, Mustard & mint imported these comfy knits in a heather base with bleu, vert and rouge stripes.
