Ever realised the high fashion brands are rather particular about their branding and advertising? Most of them feature perfectly airbrushed models poised in angles that would make normal janes like us look like some of our body parts are in pain. I understand thoroughly though. They have an image to sustain and their target audiences are probably sufficiently esteemed to embody that poise that high fashion models have.
So, this fall, *cues Lanvin’s dancing models*, these models danced to a different beat. No longer spiffy, cold nor out of reach in their own realms but seemingly goofy; a little reminiscent of the everyday janes, enjoying life, music, a little jiggle, but still dressed to impress. Characteristically clean, sophisticated and tailored, Lanvin lets loose this fall and it made me grin (:
