It’s quite like peeking out surreptitiously from behind a pillar, during a childhood game of hide and seek. You’re eager to find out where you stand in your game yet anxious to be found out. Perhaps this is our grown-up game of hide and seek. Similarly; eager yet anxious about the unknowns. That air of mystère, at least we now allow it to be a little more bearable with love and lust. Make up, shoes, garments, masquerade parties, jewelry.
So, I’d add to this list the ability to twiddle my thumbs and jot down little lists of lusts, impulses and inspirations. Well, plus the plethora of photos (;
At least now we are able to distract and prettify ourselves; to allow that wait to be a little more bearable.
